Emmy Awards 2016: Lista de vencedores da premiação

Game of Thrones é novamente consagrada como melhor série de drama no Emmy Awards, a maior premiação da TV norte-americana.

A série da HBO somou doze vitórias este ano (incluindo os prêmios técnicos) e consagrou o episódio “A Batalha dos Bastardos” como uma das maiores realizações da história da televisão. A luta travada entre Jon Snow e Ramsay Bolton levou as estatuetas de direção e roteiro.

Com essas vitórias, Game of Thrones acaba de se tornar a série com o maior número de estatuetas da história do Emmy, superando a recordista Frasier (que somou 37 prêmios ao longo dos onze anos em que esteve no ar). Game of Thrones alcançou 38 vitórias no Emmy em seis anos!
